We are looking for different business development leads for each single consulting practice (technology, telecom, digital, e-commerce, engineering, banking, insurance, accounting, auditing, healthcare, consumer products, BPMs, travel,oil & gas, government and defense.

The role
The BBL will create business and develop the client portfolio. He/She needs to be self started and work indpendently to develop strategy and presentation to get new clients within India and middle east market. The goal is to make the clients aware about how they can achieve their goal by using the resource of the organisation.
Within the first year, it is expected that the post-holder will have closed a number of deals. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading negotiations with clients and conclude deals, specifically:
    • Evangelise the benefits of Ultimech’ services.
    • Evaluate and negotiate agreements and ensure that they are endorsed by relevant business heads (product, marketing, finance and planning etc) and aligned with the business objectives for Ultimech as a whole.
    • Close deals quickly.
  • Ensuring smooth handover to the practice head, post signature of deal.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned business developer with a track record of closing complex, multi-dimensional deals. He/she will be comfortable negotiating and selling at multiple levels in target organisations. The ideal candidate will be sophisticated, bringing a structured approach to deal doing but will also be able to vary tactics and approach on a deal-by-deal basis. He/she will have knowledge of cosulting market, different market price, the buying cycle of start-up and small organisation, at the same time, he/she will be comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial and fluid environment.

Key activities performed include:

Business Strategy Development
Define, refine, test and implement strategic plans. These activities include primary research, industry, market and competitive analysis, customer needs assessment.

Alliance Development
Identify, build, and manage long-term relationships with strategic partners in the technology industries. Initiate and complete proposals, presentations, terms and conditions, negotiations and execution for the acquisition of opportunities and technologies, research collaborations, strategic alliances.

New Business Development
Identify and evaluate specific business opportunities. Work with MD to identify and evaluate new markets for existing services and other development and marketing partnership opportunities.

Marketing Strategy Development
This will include market segmentation, value
proposition development, service positioning, pricing strategy, branding strategy, channel
strategy, and communications strategy development.

Job Requirements:
- Strong experience with any of the vertical domain (practice) mentioned above.
- Technology Degree or MBA(preferred)
- 10+ years business development experience
- Superior strategy and financial skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Leadership development (including negotiation) capabilities;
- Self-motivated/started and able to work independently
- Strong analytical skills (experience building, evaluating and clearly presenting complex business
models is critical)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Multi language is a plus
